Rates of the off season produce are quite lucrative which make this option a sustainable one.\n<\/p><\/div><\/div><div id=\"panel-1407-0-0-1\" class=\"widget_text so-panel widget widget_custom_html panel-last-child\" data-index=\"1\" ><div class=\"textwidget custom-html-widget\"><p class=\"sp-post-description\">\nAccordingly, two poly houses (20mx10mx2.4m each) were constructed and demonstrated in vill. Haddam and to start with, seedlings of vegetables were raised for sale. Farmers were told how controlled moisture, temperature and light effect germination and growth of seedlings. It is planned to raise vine vegetables and demonstrate the methodology of cultivation along with erection of the poly houses and finally work out economics of the whole enterprise.
